Ryan Dunne, Glastonbury and Wolf Hall

A very small blog about some of the things that have happened in the past week, or so. In numerical order:

1) Ryan Dunne who was in Jackass. I didn’t know which one he was before he died. Apparently he was the one who placed a toy car up his ass (take that posterior posterity). He got pissed, really pissed, 0.196 per milileter pissed. Took his sports car out and drove 140 mph or there abouts and crashed.

Now on social networking sites he is being treated as some sainted martyr. He wasn’t he died a stupid and preventable death. In the UK drink driver related death fell (source: BBC) that doesn’t make it a good idea. He should not be praised but criticised for his actions. You should really feel sorry for his friends and family who lost someone when it was avoidable.

Two) Glastonbury is on and the headline acts left me cold. I have been to festivals, not Glastonbury, and I couldn’t be arsed with all of that nonsense. Rather watch it with a cup of tea. And a book…

Three) I am reading Wolf Hall. It is great. Everyone should read it.

Also, a mate has started a blog about tea: http://theteapotadventures.wordpress.com/, I love tea.
